Technical Safety BC has a bold vision for the future: Safe technical systems. Everywhere. As an independent, self-funded organization that oversees the safe installation and operation of technical systems and equipment in the province, we see genius in diversity; we foster confidence; we make the complex simple; and we adapt to meet the safety challenges of a highly-connected world. If you connect with these values – we want to hear from you.

Technical Safety BC is seeking up to two Board Directors to provide strategic advice, and oversee Technical Safety BC’s business performance, financial reporting, and risk. • Data analytics, experience in the effective use of business intelligence and advanced analytics/artificial intelligence
  • Data governance, experience in overseeing data management practices in traditional (non-digitally born) organizations

At Technical Safety BC, we are committed to advancing a culture that values equity, diversity, and inclusion – which includes recruiting and developing a well-qualified and diverse workforce representative of the people of British Columbia, embracing and encouraging different perspectives, and addressing bias in the workplace. For purposes of Board composition, diversity includes, but is not limited to, business and other experience, skills, education, gender, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, Indigenous peoples’ status, and geographic location.
