Health Canada has issued a consumer product recall for Delta Gas Ball valves due to the potential of fire or burn hazards.
Product
This recall involves the Delta Gas Ball Valves bearing model numbers W6200GAS, W6210GAS, W6220GAS, W6225GAS, W6270GAS, W6240GAS, W6275GAS, W6805AIR/GAS, W6805GAS/GAS, W6270GAS-M, W6275GAS-T, W6270GAS-P, W6210GAS-N, W6270GAS-U, W6805GAS/VAC, W6275GAS-Q, W6220GAS-W, W6275GAS-V, W6270GAS-W, W6805CW/GAS, W6275GAS-U. Each of these models will have the word “Delta” on the chrome side of the body and has a blue top with the word “GAS” in white letters.
Issue
Small amounts of gas can leak from cracks in the gas valve component when the valve is in the open position, posing a fire and burn hazards.
As of May 7, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
What to Do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Masco Canada Limited for a prorated refund.
