Will the inspection involve confined space entry?

Complete the Confined Space Entry Client and Technical Safety BC Verification Checklist and submit the Checklist with the following three documents as described in the Checklist. If you have further questions, refer to the information found on Confined Space Entry Requirements.

Will the inspection involve pneumatic testing?
Your safety officer must review and accept a pneumatic test procedure before a pneumatic test over 15 psig but equal to or less than 1677 kJ.   If the pneumatic test is over 1677 kJ, an Application-specific procedure must be developed.  The Application-specific procedure shall be developed and approved by a Professional Engineer.

The Application-specific procedure (greater than 1677 kJ) must be forwarded to boiler.designregistration@technicalsafetybc.ca to be reviewed and approved by Design Survey Engineering before an inspection request can be submitted. For information refer to Pneumatic Testing.
