Incident overview
CNG station failed to empty four compressed natural gas cylinders during decommissioning. These cylinders were kept outdoors and were exposed to high ambient temperatures. The increase in temperature caused an increase in gas pressure and resulted in large amounts of gas being released into the atmosphere.
