State of Safety: Safety Engagement
As safety is a shared accountability, we often collaborate with clients through various engagement opportunities and fund public outreach activities to share safety knowledge.
Education and Awareness
We share safety knowledge with British Columbians to spread awareness in areas where we see public hazards or troubling trends. We provide courses and education opportunities on topics shaped by insights from our clients, safety officers, and incident investigations team members.

Compliance
We all have a role to play in keeping BC safe. Contractors, building managers, and homeowners, to name a few, have legal obligations when it comes to regulated equipment and systems. As a regulator, we commit to education and the promotion of safety knowledge so British Columbians can better understand their responsibilities and find it easier to comply with codes and standards.

Consultations, Advisory Groups, and Engagement
We believe that clients are best served when we understand their needs. See how we’re garnering and analyzing their feedback. Additionally, learn what we’ve accomplished alongside our clients and industry experts, who volunteer their time to provide input on issues related to the design, implementation and evaluation of safety policy and regulation, service design, and technical safety programs.
