Recall - Fisher & Paykel Gas Ranges with a gas oven recalled due to burn hazard

Health Canada has issued a consumer product recall on Fisher & Paykel Gas Ranges recalled due to burn hazard due to fire hazard.

Product:

Fisher & Paykel branded 30”, 36” & 48” Freestanding Professional Gas Ranges with a gas oven.

Issue:

During its operation, the oven may exhibit delayed ignition, posing a burn hazard.

As of April 10, 2026, the company has received 2 reports of delayed ignition and 1 report of burn injury in Canada.  In the United States, the company has received 16 reports of delayed ignition and no reports of injury.

What to Do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled oven until it has been inspected and serviced. Consumers may continue to use the stovetop.
