Overview
A Gas Piping Certificate of Qualification allows you to install and test gas piping under an appropriate permit.
This certificate does not allow you to:
- install, service, or commission gas appliances
- be named on a permit
To obtain this certificate, you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements and pass an exam.
Exam eligibility
To apply for this exam, you must have:
- Completed a recognized gas piping course
- A minimum of 2 years gas fitting experience
