An Elevating Devices Mechanic is a person who is certified to install, repair, and maintain elevating devices as per the relevant codes and standards in effect in BC.
In order to become an Elevating Devices Mechanic - Class A, C, or H, you must first complete your Mechanic-in-Training (MIT) apprenticeship, then meet certain eligibility requirements and pass a certification exam.
